Here you will find the general KPMX Contest Rules as well as the rules for the KPMX No Repeat Workday.
KPMX
CONTEST RULES
1.
No purchase is necessary to participate in or win any KPMX contest.
2.
By participating in a contest you agree to these rules.
Decisions by KPMX regarding winners and interpretation and administration
of contest rules and details are final.
3.
Contests are open to KPMX listeners 18 years of age and older,
except as follows:
A.
There may only be one winner per household of a KPMX contest in any
30-day period.
B.
If a member of a household wins a prize valued at $1,000 or more,
no member of that household may win another prize valued at $1,000 or more
within the next 13 months.
C.
A household may only participate in a contest once per day.
D.
Current and former employees of KPMX and Northeast Colorado
Broadcasting, interns, contractors, agents, and employees of participating
sponsors, promotional partners or advertising agencies and of other broadcast
companies, and their immediate family members and/or household members are not
eligible for any contest.
4.
Contest entries will only be accepted in the manner and at the
times announced for each contest. KPMX
is not responsible for contest entries that are not received for any reason.
Entries are the property of KPMX. If
an entry is illegible or cannot be understood, or does not supply all required
information, the entry will be considered invalid.
5.
When requested a contestant must disclose his or her legal name,
address, telephone number and Social Security number and show legal ID.
Winners may be required to sign tax forms, affidavit of eligibility
and/or release. If the requested
information or signatures are not provided or information given is untrue,
contestant or winner may be disqualified.
6.
Payment of taxes is the sole responsibility of prize winners.
7.
Despite any statement or inference made at an event or on the air,
a contestant is not officially a winner until KPMX has determined that all
eligibility requirements have been met and contest rules have been complied
with.
8.
Prizes are non-transferable and substitutions of cash or equivalent
are not allowed other than a substitution by KPMX that may be necessary due to
the unavailability of a prize.
9.
Unless awarded at an event, prizes must be picked up at the KPMX
studio (

Each
contestant and winner agrees to be interviewed and have their picture taken, and
that KPMX can use his or her voice, name and likeness for promotional purposes
without additional compensation.
11.
KPMX
and its sponsors are not responsible for any typographical or other error in
printed materials associated with a contest or errors in the administration of a
contest or announcement of prizes or winners.
12.
By
participating in a contest or accepting a prize, contestants and winners and
their representatives agree to release KPMX, Northeast Colorado Broadcasting,
its sponsors, and promotional partners from any liability, claims or actions of
any kind for injuries, damages, or losses of any kind which may be sustained in
connection with the contest or with the receipt or use of any prize or while
traveling to or from any contest or prize related activity.
13.
A
contest is void if prohibited or regulated.
14.
Individual
contests may have separate rules, including separate eligibility rules.
If the rules of an individual contest allow minors to enter, at the
discretion of KPMX, certain prizes may be awarded to the minor's parent or
guardian and not directly to the minor.
15.
KPMX
reserves the right to correct, change or amend these rules, or individual
contest rules, at any time.

KPMX NO
REPEAT WORKDAY 1.
All regular KPMX Contest Rules apply to the KPMX No Repeat Workday. 2.
The “No Repeat Workday Guarantee” is in effect for songs played
on KPMX between 3.
A “repeat” song is the same version of the same song by the
same artist, played a second time on KPMX during the same workday. 4.
When you hear a repeat song, be the first to call KPMX at 522-4800
and correctly identify the repeat song. 5.
To be eligible to win you must call within 10 minutes 57 seconds of
the end of the “repeat” song. 6.
If no one correctly identifies a repeat song within the time limit,
there will be no winner of the prize for that song.
There is a maximum of one winner per week of the KPMX No Repeat
Workday, even if additional repeat songs air during the week. 7.
A winning contestant will be awarded $105.70.
At the option of KPMX the winning contestant may be asked to pick up
the prize at our studio, or the prize may be mailed to the winning contestant
on the next business day after the contest is won. 8.
The usual limitation of only one winner per household of a KPMX
contest in any 30-day period does not apply to the KPMX No Repeat Workday.
In other words, if you have recently won another KPMX contest you are
welcome to participate in the KPMX No Repeat Workday contest. 9.
The KPMX No Repeat Workday contest may be discontinued at anytime
